Think locally

We build our work model in Jacksonville, develop waste collection, streamline and secure processes.

Local residents are trained in waste sorting and businesses are offered pick-up.

The private individuals who attend and deliver to the collection are offered groceries as compensation. That's what we call DO TO GET.

We start in Jacksonville and then grow to the next community where we find great collaboration with the locally rooted Church or any other active organization.

Creating a self-sufficient model

We want to build a sustainable and self-sustaining model that provides people in vulnerable areas with jobs, education around sustainability and income through recycling. Our goal is to turn the rubbish that today surrounds many places in South Africa into a resource. Through entrepreneurship and self-help, we create the path to strong and independent communities — not dependent on donations.

We want to start in Jacksonville and show that the model works in practice. With simple education that everyone can benefit from, we can create jobs, community and a more sustainable environment. Next, we want to spread the model to more places in South Africa — and then to the world.

  • developing waste-to-energy plants that create electricity in an electricity-deficient South Africa
  • through collaborations and acquisitions, create complete recycling solutions that take care of today's waste in a sustainable way
